Homework 3

  1. LAB 2. Complete it if you didn't finish in class. Here.
  2. READING. Read pages 57-83 in Rules of Play. This will cover sections on: Interactivity and Defining Games. Write a response to the readings on your website.
  3. EXTEND-A-GAME. For next week, start with the lab we completed in class, or the tutorial we completed in class (if we get to it). Extend the game in any way you wish. You can add sound, make better graphics, add more rooms, add more enemies, add weapons, add timing, add a final goal position you must reach. For the tutorial clicking game, you could add different colors, the balls changing size as the game progresses, changing which ball you can't hit... Do whatever you like. Try to make it fun.
